Our Founder
Dr. Ilham Talat Qattan
With her visionary outlook and exceptional abilities, Dr. Elham bint Talaat bin Mahmoud Qattan sought to realize her dream by fulfilling the aspirations of many dreamers in Saudi Arabia longing for a bright artistic future in their homeland. She founded this great academic institution to serve as a beacon, illuminating the path of theatrical arts, directing, music, criticism, and other arts.
Currently, Dr. Elham serves as an Assistant Professor of Medical and Molecular Virology at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, having obtained her Ph.D. in the field from University College London in 2013. With extensive administrative experience, she has worked as an investment advisor and resource developer in the Medina Region, chaired planning and supervision committees, and held administrative positions in various colleges and research centers. Dr. Elham has been honored with several awards, including the LEWAS Leadership and Academic Excellence Award for Women in 2019, and has made tangible cultural contributions through her participation in local and international journals and newspapers, as well as through her authorship and production of the documentary film “Weghet Nazar”.
